PETER ZOPPI is a Senior Character Artist @ Treyarch from Los Angeles, United States of America. In this post you will see Captain Flint 3D Art by Peter Zoppi. Peter used it as inspiration to push his sculpting, texture painting, shading and rendering. He has been using this project as a way to learn about Arnold, the AlShader and Xgen for hair. He also wanted to try some new workflows with the Texturing XYZ maps for high frequency detail. The head is broken into 3 UV tiles at 8k each to try to maximize the displacement quality. He did the sculpt in Mudbox, hand painted textures and rendered in Maya.
